Oriented Silicon Steel Product Manual
Our oriented silicon steel is a high-performance magnetic material with excellent magnetic properties, low core loss, high magnetic induction, and good lamination factor. It is mainly used in the manufacture of iron cores for transformers, reactors, and other electrical equipment, widely applied in power transmission and distribution, electrical machinery, and new energy fields. The product strictly complies with international standards and industry specifications, ensuring stable performance and reliable quality.
Our oriented silicon steel is divided into three types according to magnetic properties and application scenarios, covering various nominal thicknesses to meet different customer needs.
• Conventional Oriented Silicon Steel: Suitable for general power transformers and electrical equipment, with balanced performance and cost-effectiveness.
• High Induction Oriented Silicon Steel: Featured with high magnetic induction and low core loss, suitable for high-efficiency transformers and large-capacity reactors.
• Domain Refined High Induction Oriented Silicon Steel: Optimized magnetic domain structure, further reducing core loss and improving energy efficiency, suitable for ultra-high-efficiency transformers and precision electrical equipment.
The dimensional tolerances of our oriented silicon steel strictly follow international standards, ensuring the accuracy of product size and facilitating subsequent processing and assembly. The specific tolerances are shown below:

Note: a. Transverse thickness deviation refers to the thickness difference between the sheet center and 15mm from the edge. b. The longitudinal thickness difference is the difference between the measured maximum thickness and the minimum thickness in the longitudinal direction (parallel to the rolling direction) at an arbitrary 2m length of the steel sheet. c. For customers with special requirements, we can supply products with customized tolerances (standard + a).

7. Electromagnetic Property Curves
The electromagnetic property curves of our oriented silicon steel (including core loss curves, exciting power curves, DC magnetization and permeability curves) are tested by professional equipment, which can accurately reflect the magnetic performance of the product under different working conditions. The test conditions are as follows:
• Test method: Epstein Test Apparatus (25cm) or Single Sheet Tester (for domain refined high induction type).
• Test specimens: 300mm long and 30mm wide parallel to the rolling direction (Epstein Test); 500mm×500mm without stress relief annealing (Single Sheet Test).
• Density: 7.65kg/dm³.
The specific curves for each grade are available upon request. Customers can contact our technical department to obtain detailed curve data.
• Our oriented silicon steel is suitable for manufacturing iron cores of power transformers, distribution transformers, reactor cores, and other electrical equipment.
• When cutting and processing the product, it is recommended to use professional cutting equipment to avoid damage to the surface of the steel sheet and ensure the flatness of the cut surface.
• During the assembly of the iron core, the lamination factor should be controlled according to the product requirements to ensure the magnetic performance of the iron core.
• The product should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and clean environment to avoid moisture, rust, and contamination.
Our oriented silicon steel is produced in strict accordance with ISO quality management system standards. Each batch of products undergoes strict quality inspection before leaving the factory, including dimensional inspection, mechanical property testing, and magnetic property testing. We provide quality inspection reports for each batch of products to ensure that the products meet the requirements of customers and relevant standards.
